What does the Institute do for me as member?

The Institute provides world class training to its members that cover Property Practise, Sectional Title, Legal, Selling Skills, NQF level 4.
The Institute is currently negotiating to provide a Medical Aid cover as well as an income protector plan which will be specially adapted to the needs of it's members.
The Institute represents the interests of its members at the Local Authority.
The Institute has representation on behalf of its members at the Department of Trade and Industry as well as at the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB).
The Institute keeps it's members informed with new legislation which could effect the industry.
The Institute, through the combined and individual knowledge and experience of its directors on property industry related matters, gives advice on legal and ethical aspects of the industry - free of charge to its members!
The Institute provides free mediation in cases of dispute to it's members.
The Institute is currently negotiating with the Local Authority for mandatory regulated outdoor advertising.
The Institute ensures exposure in the media for members through their Agent-of-the-month competition and the annual Institute Day.
The Institute recently succeeded in negotiations with the S A Board of Valuers to establish a 1-year course (which includes bank valuations) for residential agents.
